TNFAIP8, 1-198aa, Human, His tag, E.coli

Categories: [Proteins / Peptides]
TNFAIP8 belongs to the TNFAIP8 family. This protein acts as a negative mediator of apoptosis and may play a role in tumor progression. It suppresses the TNF-mediated apoptosis by inhibiting caspase-8 activity but not the processing of procaspase-8, subsequently resulting in inhibition of BID cleavage and caspase-3 activation. Recombinant human TNFAIP8 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
