It may act as a co-chaperone in iron-sulfur cluster assembly in mitochondria, Interacts with ISCU and HSPA9. Recombinant human HSCB protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
