Eno2, 1-434aa, Mouse, His-tag, E.coli

Categories: [Proteins / Peptides]
Eno2, also known as Gamma enolase isoform1, is a glycolytic isoenzyme which is located in central and peripheral neurons and neuroendocrine cells. This enzyme is released into the CSF when neural tissue is injured. Neoplasms derived from neural or neuroendocrine tissue may release Eno2 into the blood. Eno2 is a useful substance that has been detected in patients with certain tumors, namely: neuroblastoma, small cell lung cancer, medullary thyroid cancer, carcinoid tumors, pancreatic endocrine tumors, and melanoma. Recombinant mouse Eno2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
